The Ethical Slut

So obviously there is no more Tom. After about 6 months of living together I had already started to realize that things weren't working out. So on the blog back around Nov 08 there really wasn't much to report, since there wasn't much going on! We had a brief period where things went well, then it fell apart again.

It took me 6 months to move out. Not for any decision making purposes, rather because I put a contract on a house and it never came through! I made the decision to tell him in late January, and it seemed to perk things up for a little while. However as it took longer and longer to hear something back about the house, we both got more frustrated.

In May I gave up the contract on my "perfect" house, after nearly 90 days of waiting. Went house hunting with my realtor and found 4 more perfect homes! Picked the one that was best for a single mom of 2 kids and put a contract in. 3 weeks later I moved in.

Things continued to fluctuate with Tom and I. Through the packing, and the moving and everything else in between, it just continued to get worse. I thought moving out would make it better, however that was not the case.

So here I am, out on my own! My very first house, first one purchased, first one I've lived in alone! I'm back at my old job, left where I had been the past year for the job I had BEFORE I moved. Very pleased about that!!! So happy to be back there!

I'm very happy thus far. I've been having a lot of fun with several different people. Sometimes more fun than others. I've been playing on the dating sites, and the swinger sites, and enjoying both!
